Notice of Construction/Street Access
Beginning Tuesday, June 12, the City of Lebanon will start construction of the 2018 Street Preservation Project on J Street between Second and Fifth Streets. The contractor completing the work will be required to give a minimum 48 hours’ notice prior to beginning construction.
The intent of the project is to provide a new driving surface as well as fix any areas of roadway base that may be failing. This will be accomplished by removing the existing roadway surface and constructing a new asphalt overlay.
During construction, J Street will be closed from Second to Fifth Street. Residents in the affected area should expect delays and/or detours around the construction activities. Residents in the impacted area will be afforded reasonable access but can expect short periods of time where access to individual driveways may not be possible in addition to periodic delays and other related inconveniences.
