New Water Treatment Plant to Begin Operation
Beginning Tuesday, April 9 the City of Lebanon will begin operating the new Water Treatment Plant (WTP) located on River Road. After several years of design and construction and two months of successful water quality testing, the new WTP will begin providing water to residents and businesses of Lebanon. The existing WTP (located on 2nd Street) will be turned off to allow the transition to the new WTP.
The City expects very little, if any, changes in water quality during the transition. City Maintenance Crews will be performing hydrant flushing throughout the city to help maintain successful water quality during the switchover to the new Water Treatment Plant. Should you notice any difference in water quality, please contact the City of Lebanon at (541) 451.0101 with any concerns.
