The Community is Invited to Name Lebanon's Bus System

Loop Route

The City of Lebanon recently added a scheduled loop route bus service while maintaining its long-standing Dial-a-Bus system.  With the new service the Dial-a-Bus name no longer adequately describes the overall system.

The City is asking the community to help find a new name.  Some ideas from other communities that might inspire name ideas for Lebanon’s bus system include CATS (Charlotte Area Transit System), MAX (Metropolitan Area Express), TART (Tahoe Area Regional Transit), JAC (Jump Around Carson), Cherriots (Salem), and Mountain Rides (Ketchum, Idaho).

Name ideas may be submitted at drop box locations at the Lebanon Public Library and Senior Center.  You may also email your entry(ies) to lmatthewsbock@ci.lebanon.or.us.

The contest is open to all Lebanon area residents, and entries will be accepted through 5 pm on Friday, December 10, 2018.

The winning entrant will win an Apple iPad and an unlimited-use bus pass for one year.
